Contemporary Calligraphy- Beginner Workshop

This workshop is intended for beginners with little to no experience in calligraphy or those that are interested in learning a more structured approach to modern calligraphy. All the tools for this class will be provided and you will have plenty of resources for your take home practice!

This class will cover: using a calligraphy pen and nibs, learning basic strokes, and the lowercase alphabet (you will also be provided with additional handouts of the uppercase letters). The class size is limited, so there will be a lot of time for individual instruction.

The Brain Storm

An unstructured studio drop-in where artists can meet, talk, brainstorm, share techniques, materials or ideas they are engaged with.

Little Penguin February 2018 Workshop (for ages 4-7)

Little Penguin is a series of children art workshops. Classes are designed to guide kids to explore their creativity, and help them experiment with various art forms, such as drawing, printmaking and painting. Workshops are organized for small groups of 8 to 10.

In this workshop, children will be guided through various forms of mixed media and printmaking projects that involve creative thinking. Both parents and children will be encouraged to work together with simple tools and techniques to create art and express themselves while having fun.

– Class is for children between the ages of 4 to 7
– At least one parent or caregiver is required to attend with the child. Both parents are welcome to join, the more the merrier!
– Class is limited to 10 children
– All materials are included
– Fee is $35 per class

I am looking forward to introducing your children to printmaking and art!
