Spring has returned. The Earth is like a child that knows poems. – Rainer Maria Rilke
Spring is a time for renewal and reflection.
It’s a time to let go of everything we’ve accumulated in the winter months.
It’s a time plant new seeds.
Join Author and Artist Educator Sheniz Janmohamed on a (hopefully sunny) May afternoon for a reflective, engaging poetry workshop. Participate in a guided nature walk, create nature mandalas, and of course, learn new styles of poetry!
Observe the gentle beauty of spring, notice the changes around you and write them into existence.
Let’s spend some time together to walk, wonder and write.
Facilitated by Author, Artist Educator and Artscape Youngplace Teacher-in-Residence, Sheniz Janmohamed.
What people are saying about Sheniz’s workshops:
“Sheniz is a gifted creative writer who has a unique ability to break down what most of us see as a complicated and involved process into simple digestible steps. She was able to create a safe and extremely warm space where we could share our visions and dreams and explore different ways to express ourselves creatively…She has a gentle way of guiding the students to push themselves, to share more, to delve more deeply and to reflect. My writing techniques have improved dramatically..”
