Learn to use your camera in Manual mode. We will cover photography basics: everything from aperture, shutter speed, ISO to light-metering and exposure. This class is ideal for students that are seeking to understand their cameras and feel more comfortable with it in different light settings. At the end of the 12-hour course, participants will leave thinking in terms of light, form and have brief introduction to photographic composition. This is a hands-on course with a balanced mix between theory and class exercises. Students will have weekly assignments to be reviewed in class.
For this course you will need a DSLR camera, mirrorless camera or compact camera, which has Aperture (A/Av) Priority, Shutter (S/Tv) Priority and Manual Mode.
Meets every Tuesday. 6 pm to 9 pm. 4 sessions. 12 hours total. Space is limited. Registration required.
