Sara Porter leads a dynamic workshop of personal and creative exploration. Studio work incorporates movement improvisation, creative writing, vocal work and clown to generate multi-disciplinary material geared toward performance. Through guided exercises and play, you will expand your movement vocabulary and explore new modes of physical presence, gain fuller access to breath and vocal range, refine your writing skills. Drawing on the uniqueness of each person’s experience, body and voice, we will mine our pasts and perspectives for the images, sensations and stories that tell who we are. On stage and in life. For artists of all disciplines.
