As part of Nuit Rose on Saturday June 21, the Light Parade event will be encouraging people to participate in carrying lanterns or wearing costumes in the theme of transformation, on a walk from Artscape Youngplace to the Gladstone Hotel.
This free workshop will focus on creating cocoon like lanterns to be carried in the parade on the evening of June 21st. Working with supplied natural materials, Willow branches, cotton string, twine, paper and wheat paste, Joey Bruni will guide this workshop and help you create a cocoon of your very own. Come be part of the event that will enchant the night with light.
