Create in Public Space: Toronto Session #2 – Writing & Dramaturgy

September 19 @ 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Free

• What is dramaturgy?
• Is there specific dramaturgical writing for public spaces?
• How do artists use public spaces in their writing?
• What types of artistic intentions are presented in unconventional spaces?

Art of Festivals, a ‘think and do’ consultancy based in Toronto, is hosting a free session to gather public art & public space enthusiasts around questions of dramaturgy and writing in and for the public space. This session is part of a 4-week series complementing a free online course (https://createinpublicspace.com/) with opportunities to meet, in-person and in-situ, and learn from each other.

Come from 5pm onwards for a free, informal and convivial sharing experience, facilitated by Creative Producers Fanny Martin & Bridget MacIntosh with special guests. Register to get updates and help us plan for numbers – and bring your curiosity and your ideas about art in public space!

To sign up to the other Toronto sharing sessions, check out Art of Festivals on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/artoffestivals/
