• What is dramaturgy?
• Is there specific dramaturgical writing for public spaces?
• How do artists use public spaces in their writing?
• What types of artistic intentions are presented in unconventional spaces?
Art of Festivals, a ‘think and do’ consultancy based in Toronto, is hosting a free session to gather public art & public space enthusiasts around questions of dramaturgy and writing in and for the public space. This session is part of a 4-week series complementing a free online course (https://createinpublicspace.com/) with opportunities to meet, in-person and in-situ, and learn from each other.
Come from 5pm onwards for a free, informal and convivial sharing experience, facilitated by Creative Producers Fanny Martin & Bridget MacIntosh with special guests. Register to get updates and help us plan for numbers – and bring your curiosity and your ideas about art in public space!

We will be monitoring public health and government recommendations regarding the reopening of non-essential businesses and public gatherings to guide our decision on a re-opening date.
Stay safe and we look forward to seeing you soon!
While numerous professional associations have created their own COVID-19 resource guides, Artscape’s compilation focuses on a collection of financial resources and supports to help creatives across all of our communities navigate this situation.
