Bookbound: The Library in Artistic Imagination

January 12, 2014 @ 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm

From childhood to adulthood, the library sparks our imagination and fuels our creativity, shaping our individual and shared experiences of books. Beyond this universal relationship, it continues to inspire a wealth of artistic perspectives. Visual artist Adam David Brown, author and librarian Martha Baillie, and psychoanalyst and psychiatry professor Dr. David Dorenbaum explore these themes in a conversation moderated by Mona Filip, Curator of the Koffler Gallery. Preceded by an artist-led tour of the exhibition We’re in the Library.
